Emma Watson Facts
Her biography:
Emma is 5' 3", Chest 32", Waist 23" (stats from a body doubles casting call for POA)
She has played in her school plays (the younger years, the swallow and the prince, the happy prince, and alice in wonderland. Emma's accomplishments are she won 1st place in the Daisy Pratt Poetry Competition at the age of 7, and won the role of Hermione Granger out of 1,000's of people!
Has 2 pet cats bubbles and domino.
Favourite HP line: I'm going to bed before iether of you come up with another clever idea of getting us killed or worse expelled.
Favourite movie trick: When under the stands at Quidditch and set Snapes Cloak on fire.

She's not like Hermione (aside from the bossy side of her) “Um…no. I don’t enjoy studying. I enjoy school, but I’m not obsessed with school, that’s kind of the difference between us.”

"I've been asked this by so many people. And it's so embarrassing! [Laughs] I have no idea who she's going to end up with. I think she'll just end up single."
In another interview, a reporter asked how she would feel about kissing Rupert or Dan. She said it was highly unlikely and 'not in my contract!' (I think that was a sign of relief). And the stuff that does happen... doesn't happen till book four.
She found out she got the part of Hermione with Rupert.

Emma and Rupert really hate those action figures of themselves! "Oh, they're scary. They are scary. To think that people are going to be playing with you," said Rupert and Emma added: "I feel like a voodoo doll. It's grim. It's gross." Watson said, the dolls don't even resemble her. "There's too many of them. There's the Hermione Granger doll, the Hermione action figure," she said. "An average of them didn't really look like me. Chamber of Secrets Trivia
She started filming her scenes in December 2001 (well Hermione is petrified for quite a while in this second book)
She would rather be in Slytherin than Gryffindor because then she could have more fun!
Her favourite character is Gilderoy Lockhart, the new professor in Chamber of Secrets. "He plays such a fantastic character, and he's hilarious. I get to act dreamy in scenes because I'm in love with him."
Emma on Hermione's in the Second book. "I think all of the characters have matured. Hermione has become a bit more laid back and she's not so mothering to Harry and Ron. She finally has a different hairstyle, which is nice"
Her most difficult scene to film was "Professor Sprout's class was pretty hard. There are so many scenes where I literally couldn't say my lines. Hermione gets such mouthfuls, it's like a tongue twister in each paragraph. She talks like a dictionary. She is a dictionary."
Emma encourages everyone to read! "It's important to read because it's really good for your [vocabulary]. It's really good for your imagination. I enjoy reading because I find it relaxing."
Her on set nickname was 'One Take Watson'
Chris Columbus on Emma filming the hug scene in HP2 "I asked Emma to hug Dan, and she said, 'No way,' and that was the day she was the most nervous being on the set. She was like, 'I am not going to hug him, no I'm not.' And I said, 'You've been petrified, this is one of your best friends, if not your best friend, you have to hug him,' I said, 'but you won't hug Ron, because that's where the tension is.
So basically, she had all her friends, all the actors, actresses, she had to hug him in front of 350 actors, so as a kid she was terrified. So she hugged him, and I had to extend it through editing. She would hug him, and at the next frame, gone."
Emma loved being Petrified -" it was this amazing wax model of me. I had to have a whole [model] made of me. I didn't actually have to lie there like this [does very cute impression] for a half an hour or anything."
"It was a lot of hard work and early mornings," she says with a grimace. "There were some days where I had to be on set for six in the morning. I'd rather get up late and work late."
"[There were] 300 extras in the same room for one whole week. Everyone is dying of boredom and they need to be laughing; Robbie Coltrane [Hagrid] had to stand up on the tables and dance. They did the Macarena and the cancan, and it worked! It was the highlight of the whole filming! I never laughed so much in my life!"
Emma loves Crunchie bars!
Apparently to get her (and the rest of the cast) energised for a scene.. Chris Columbus would get them to sprint around or do star jumps!
If she had polyjuice... she become Jennifer Aniston..to see if Brad Pitt is really that good looking!
Prisoner of azkaban
Emma Watson's, has a sign on her dressing-room door that reads BEWARE: BABE INSIDE.
On the POA set report from NBC - Their correspondant said that Emma was very upfront about her crush on Brad Pitt. "Does'nt Everyone?" she said.
